Wealthcare’s chosen charity

Wealthcare have chosen to support the Bury Cancer Support Centre Charity this year.

Bury Cancer Support Centre has been serving cancer patients, families & carers at all stages of their cancer journey for the last 19 years. All support is free and for as long as is needed. The centre operates on a drop-in basis, welcoming anyone from the North West.

As a self-funding charity, with no support from government or any other agency, they cover their operating costs (currently circa £200K p.a.) by year-round fundraising events and generous donations from supporters of their Centre.

Support offered includes: Information, Advice, Complementary Therapies, Counselling , Hypnotherapy, Relaxation Classes (Ti Chi and Yoga), Bereavement Support, Nutritional Support and Advice , friendships and mutual support. A cafe serving fresh wholesome and nutritious food and drinks, freshly prepared each day by a team of volunteers.
